Available Position: Apple Repair Technician MetroMacs is a locally owned Apple repair and service specialist based in Overland Park, KS. We have been in business for 9 years and focus entirely on the Apple product line. From in store hardware repairs to onsite IT support services - we take care of all of our customer's Apple related service and support needs.
In addition, we sell and service refurbished Apple products and third party accessories inside our retail store environment. Apple Repair Technicians at MetroMacs are expected to embody the service excellence that is at the core of what we do: Friendly, honest service centered around informed advice. Principal Duties & Job Description: •Delights customer with knowledge, integrity and commitment to an excellent service experience.
•Performs software troubleshooting, data migration, Apple Service Diagnostic procedures and advanced level hardware repairs on Macintosh computers and iDevices. •Contributes to the entire team through the flexibility to jump in where needed by understanding the knowledge and procedures of many roles. •Stays current on Apple technology and new procedures. •Completes repairs according to MetroMacs' standards of excellence and procedures that are emphasized through our extensive training program. •Understanding of customer satisfaction and service excellence and how repair strategies affect them. Qualifications & Accountabilities: •Manages the customer's experience to ensure they are delighted during and after the repair service. •Completes tasks consistently and contributes positively to the team by assisting in other areas as needed. •Maintains an outstanding level of quality while successfully completing repairs on or ahead of a predetermined repair timeline. •Resolves and takes ownership of issues related to any repair. •Precision workmanship, integrity and attention to detail are paramount. •Keeps all required Apple certifications current on an annual basis. Requirements: •Ability to pass the Apple Certified Macintosh Technician Certification test within 90 days (we provide paid training and resources.) •Minimum of one year experience as an Apple repair technician in a professional repair environment. •Exceptional customer-facing skills including conflict resolution and outreach. •Extensive user experience in Apple operating systems. •Excellent oral and written communication skills. •Possesses strong analytical abilities and is capable of working methodically towards the completion of all repairs. •Works well within a team environment. •Understands the responsibility we have for protecting our customer's privacy and property. •Ability to prioritize and balance competing needs. •Possesses a sense of urgency and enjoys a fast-paced environment. •Maintains a positive and flexible outlook. •Valid ID & ability to work within the US. •Operate reliable transportation. •High school diploma or equivalent.
